The person should not have a ration card of any other state.

A family has a ration card in the name of the head of the family.
The members who are being included in the ration card must have a close relationship with the head of the family.
No member of the family should have a name in any ration card before that.

How to apply online

You must first visit the official site of your respective state.
Aadhar card, voter ID, a passport can be given as ID proof for making ration cards.
If this card is not there, then any card, health care, driving license issued by the government can be given.
You have to pay a fee of five to 45 rupees along with applying for a ration card.
After the application is submitted, it is sent for field verification. The officer examines the information filled in the form and confirms it.
This inquiry is completed within 30 days of applying.
If the investigation is found correct, the ration card is issued within 30 days.
Apart from this, if the applicants want, they can also apply for a ration card at the Common Service Center.
